I don’t think that I’ve ever planned on using it, but I’ve often come across random recipies that call for it. So, I guess my advice would be to hang on to it for future use… Sorry I couldn’t be more help.

ps. I have made cakes using the above “Jayne” method…with flavored jello. They are delicious!
