I am even more thankful to stand here today and pledge my life to you. You are more than I could have ever asked for or imagined. You are a lily among thorns. I believe without a doubt that God placed you in my life at just the right time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I don&#8217;t think that life works correctly without God. Therefore I don&#8217;t believe that marriage will work without him either. I will look to Christ as head of our home as I have looked to him as head of the church.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I will love you in all circumstances. I will love you the way God intends love to be, not the way this world defines it. I hereby lay down my life for you. I realize that times will be tough, and that I may not always feel in love with you. in those times I will not seek pleasure from others, but I will be faithful to you only. I will be the man that comforts, helps, and provides security for you for the rest of my life. This is my solemn vow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>To Ben:<\/strong><br \/>Today in front of everyone here I vow my love and life-long commitment to you. I promise today to be your faithful wife, loving and serving you in all the days that lie ahead, embracing times of challenge as well as times of joy. I do not take this vow lightly, as so many in our world do, but promise that until the Lord takes us from this Earth I will be yours alone. I will strive to serve you, as God directs, and will respect you, encourage you, and help you become the great man God has created you to be. I see so many amazing gifts and qualities in you that I respect so much, and am excited to grow together in the days ahead. Wether illness overcomes you or circumstance drains us, I will still be by your side. I&#8217;m not going anywhere. I know there will be hard times, temptations, and trials, but I vow my faithfulness to you as long as I live, and know that the Lord will guide us as we commit ourselves also to him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Four years ago today I received my very first kiss, and I am so excited for you to kiss me again today, though this time as my beloved husband. I love you and am blessed to have you.
