Yummy stuff!  But, tricky to find and somewhat pricey.  So, as I was exploring different recipes I stumbled upon one for <a href=\"http:\/\/www.leiasdelights.com\/2011\/04\/how-to-make-oat-milk.html\">oat milk<\/a>!  Here &#8217;tis.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Oat Milk<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>   1 cup rolled oats<br \/>\n   4 cups water<br \/>\n   1+ tsp maple syrup\/other sweetener (optional, to taste)<\/p>\n<p>    Pour the oats into a big bowl and top with water. Place in the fridge for 24-36 hours.  Blend the oats and the soaking water together, then strain the mixture into a jug.  Add sweetener if desired.  <\/p>\n<p>We just drank ours plain.  It was even toddler approved!  ANd then I took all the leftover, strained oats and blended them with some milk and banannas for a smoothie.
