Baking is one outlet for me.  Though this is a great no-bake recipe, I think it still counts.  Ben lamented recently about the weenie size of granola bars, so we set out to make a &#8220;Man&#8217;s bar&#8221;.  Success was found in these Cranberry Almond Granola Bars.  They be goooooood.<\/p>\n<p> , <a href=\"http:\/\/theholtsite.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/1.jpeg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/theholtsite.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/1-640x480.jpeg\" alt=\"1\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Cranberry Almond Granola Bars<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>2 1\/2 cups oats<br \/>\n1\/2 cup cranberries<br \/>\n1 cup slivered almonds<br \/>\n2\/3 c. agave nectar<br \/>\n2\/3 c almond butter<br \/>\n1\/2 t. salt<\/p>\n<p>line 9 inch pan with parchment, press on the botton and let set for 4 hours.  After 4 hours? Nom, nom, nom.<\/p>\n<p>While eating your granola bars we reccomend playing some good board games from the 90&#8217;s.  To be more specific, <strong>Mousetrap<\/strong>.  Some may find all the pieces annoying, but we enjoyed it and it led to a lot of creative play. Contraptions&#8230;.we love you!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/theholtsite.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/21.jpeg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/theholtsite.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/21-640x480.jpeg\" alt=\"2\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\"  \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>We checked out <strong>Show Me a Story<\/strong> from the library, and it has many wonderful storytelling ideas.  Building on the authors ideas we created this canvas story map.  I think we worked on this, created, played for a few hours.  It became an amazing piece of art.  \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/theholtsite.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/42.jpeg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/theholtsite.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/42-640x480.jpeg\" alt=\"4\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\"  \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/theholtsite.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/33.jpeg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/theholtsite.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/33-640x480.jpeg\" alt=\"3\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\"  \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>My favorite part is this right-most tree.  We made up that a little guy lived there, a creature nearly extinct that no one has seen in years.  Alice named him&#8230;. <strong>The Woodler<\/strong>.
