First, it is true. We are official cardboard-a-holics. It is in my genes. We save boxes and we reuse them for all sorts of things. We recently made a “toddler house” for cousin Jakob. We made openings, a mailbox with mail, and a diaper roof. We also had a grand ol’ time making a house for the calico critters, and this little stable whose set-up appeared in the living room like this. So fun!<\/p>\n

Part of our advent goings ons is that we like to do acts of giving. Top favorites so far have been leaving a cupcake for our “mail girl”, and quarters of love in the laundry room. It really is more blessed to give than to receive. I love seeing the joy that comes out of that. <\/p>\n

And the joy of visiting! A visit with “Great Helen”, and a visit to see Pop after having his hip replaced. <\/p>\n

And lastly, the joy of a family Christmas party, complete with legos, Magic the Gathering, boardgames and yumminess!<\/p>\n
