He got a new collar which has a release when you pull real hard.  Somehow, Ubu has figured out how to operate this and so far has snuck away several times every day!  I put him out on the deck on his little leash, and when i come to check on him all that remains is a collar.  So, the question is: how do i make a happy cat and a happy jill?  (it drives me nuts when he gets loose b\/c then i have to go track him down)  We don&#8217;t want him to be a full fledged outdoor cat&#8230;. but the meowing he does when he is inside wanting to go out drives me crazy.  Also, he is so happy when he is out  there chewing grass&#8230; he seems so happy!  For now, i have made a new leash.  But if anyone has some advice about indoor cat care&#8230;. i welcome it!
