It was fun this passed week to have people try to guess what creature it was that I did my first taxidermy project on. Most people could not guess quickly, but when they did it was always accompanied by a grin and exclamation. This little dude is worthy of an exclamation! 🙂
We have a little feeder outside our door, and visitors this time of year. I was surprised to find one dead in the garden one morning. But to hold him and admire him up close, his colors and size and everything about him, makes one marvel at the Creators hand and all He has made.
After some time and research I set to work, and am pleased now to have this tiny little guy showing off his majesty in our home. 😀 Wanted to showcase his colors and shimmering red neck. What a bird!
