This picture shows my current gear setup. As our place is small, this allows our one-room study/living room/dining room/lesson studio/church meeting place/theater to be less crowded. It’s also very portable, which is something highly valuable to me.
Many guitarists lug around a huge system. This little rig gets me a huge amount of power and flexibility in a tiny package. The speaker is only 18 pounds but is loud enough to compete with any 4×12 cab.
I’m not really that much of a touring musician. Sometimes I think I’d make a better sound man or DJ than a guitarist. I think about gear more than I do about playing a lot of the time. But when I do play out I like to be compact and travel light.
