Dear Alice,
Now you are 10 months old! It is neat to see you grow and learn. You love to clap and play your kazoo. You are a pro at walking and are constantly on the move. You love your new bedroom! We moved to a new home this months and you seem to enjoy having your own space. This is helping you learn to go to sleep on your own for naps and nighttime.
I just love to watch you. The delight I have in you has made me think about God’s love. “How great is the love the father has lavished on us – that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are” (1 John 3:1). “Moreover, because of what Christ has done, we have become gifts to God that he delights in” (Eph 1:11). To think that the delight and love I have for you is dim compared to God’s love and delight for you and I! Wow!
