We’ve been thinking about buying a condo for a long time. We have a bit saved too – we’ve been blessed to have great living situations since we’ve been married that have allowed us to save money. Yesterday we have Chip over to play Settlers of Catan. Since he works at a bank, he knows all about the mortgage programs out there. We talked all about points, closing costs, down payments, APR, PMI, etc. Once I get a job, the montly payments will be well within our reach. I would like to keep teaching also, so the condos we are looking at are very close – hopefully I can keep the same students!
