An Evening Out

Tonight I drove Katelyn (my chauffeur job for the month) to dance in Sterling. Jill was nice enough to come along, and during the time we were waiting we went out. First we visited a shady bar right up the street. We got a drink, talked, and watched the people around us get intoxicated. There’s some lonely people that live in bars after-hours. Jill mentioned that Jesus would probably hang out in bars like that if he were walking around today. Many people are hungering for love there.

After that we went to a grocery store and got some junk food and stuff. The store was really 70’s – the color schemes and pictures of poultry on the walls. At least there was some good 80’s music playing.

Normally I wouldn’t go out of my own accord, but since I had to be out anyway, it was really nice to have company. It’s nice to live with a best friend who likes to hang out with you.
