Bert was right. You’ll love an oatmeal box! And I do. In fact, I have a container addiction. I can’t throw away/recycle coffee cans, oatmeal boxes, or just about any container! And so, I aim to re-purpose them. Most often I take other peoples ideas and implement them. But this time I came up with my own unique idea! Woohoo!
Have you seen these snack catchers? Kid puts hand in, gets snack, but no surplus of snack or spills! Clever indeed. Well…. we can save $8 and make our own out of a small box with lid. I used my cocoa container. Simply take the lid and make some slices like you’d cut a pizza. Viola!
Now, these aren’t flawless. Some extra fall out… they arene’t sealed and may go stale more quickly. But, hey, they are pretty darn cool! At first Alice cried about the lid and didn’t want it on. But then she loved it and had to carry the container everywhere.
Along the same idea I came up with making a Plastic Bag Box. You can stuff ’em in and pull ’em up when you need a bag.
