I’m thinking of writing my own guestbook. We have our old one from 2004 with all the old entries. The reason is that, while we love reading comments on the blog, people feel like they have to comment on one particular subject. A guestbook allows general comments when people drop by but don’t really care about today’s blog subject.
I still have the old Perl script guestbook I used to use, but it has a few drawbacks. I will either find a better script or write it myself, for a coding challenge.
