Mystery Sensory Box

The oatmeal box strikes again! We’ve created the…

MYSTERY SENSORY BOX
* one oatmeal box
* 2 oatmeal box lids
* contact paper
* small items to put inside

You need to cut out the unopened side of the oatmeal box so that both ends are open. Then the lids will go on each end, cut up like a pizza (with rounded corners) for your hands to go in. We had to reinforce our sides with duct tape. I put some underneath the lid to help it stay on more, and some tiny pieces over the top to secure it while small hands go in and out.

Next, you put in some mystery items and have the child guess what is in the box by using their hands. Frugal fun! 🙂

Also, friend Maggie had an awesome 100 DAYS OF SCHOOL QUILT that she made. I was most impressed and loved this idea! It is good to be with friends. 🙂
