February is a GREAT time to visit relatives in Maine! With a frozen lake, activities abound. Alice enjoyed her first snowmobile ride, watching ice fishing, and exploring on the ice. Even more, she enjoyed playing with her cousins! I asked Alice what her favorite part of Maine was – “jumping on Leif’s Bed and playing with him”. The cousins were quite a threesome. 🙂
Jackman the dog just loved being on the lake. We loved watching him. He gets a full sized picture. 🙂
During our trek across the lake we stopped to check out the island – my dream come true – it is FOR SALE!!!! Who wants to go in on an island with me? Just a fun dream….

And if you want some excitement off of the lake you can check out these nearby attractions – The Pigs Ear Bakery and the Blanchett Museum. One of these days I plan to… but I find that the lake and the family have all I want. 🙂
