Tonight we went out to eat at Not Your Average Joes. If you Join their mailing list you receive a birthday coupon for a free entree during the week of your birthday! So, we went tonight for Ben’s birthday dinner and I was excited to say my favorite drink on the menu – the candy cane cosmo! I had ordered this last year when we went for Ben’s birthday and it was so yummy! But it is only on the menu this time of year. So we inquired about the recipe for it and found out that our neighbor was the bartender 🙂 and she gave us a print out of the recipe! We then headed over to the liquor store to get some of the ingredients:
Vanilla vodka
baileys chocolate mint
peppermint schnapps
and the only things we didn’t find is the chocolate-peppermint stirrings
The dude at the liquor store helped us find stuff, we were fairly clueless on where to find everything! It was fun though, now we can make our own candy cane cosmos for a special treat!
