Loving apple season. Totally blessed by wild apple trees and friends who let us pick from their trees! But after the 10th apple pie…the upteenth round of apple sauce…you begin to look for new recipes to try.
My two new favorites are DRIED APPLES and APPLE LEATHER. I followed the directions on that link for the apple leather and we loved it. Yum! And the dried apples are SUPER easy…
* slice apples on ligthly greased baking sheet
* bake overnight at 170 degrees (12 hours)
* done! cool and crunch!
