Alice says, “This book takes place in Cameroon. It is about a little girl who can communicate with the animals. I like the artist, how she drew fancy clothes. You will like this book if you like animals and princesses and monkeys stealing food (oranges, bananas, coconut and soup!). Also you will like this book if you like sea serpents!
OWLS IN THE FAMILY – by Farley Mowat
Jill says, “This is a book about a boy growing up on the prairie in Canada. He loves animals and has many for pets, including… owls! The author brings the personality of these pet owls to life and tells of the adventures they have. You will laugh! And you will want to keep reading! There is some peril with bullies and the end could make you cry, like it did for us, but if you enjoy a good animal adventure we highly recommend this book.
