NORA’s ARK — Natalie Kinsey-warnock

Alice says, “this book is about a woman who had a house and she said that the new house the husband was working on “was like gravy”. It means that you don’t NEED it, it is just extra. The woman had a granddaughter who lived with them. Then there was a flood. But the new house was done at that time, so they put the cats in the baby carriage and moved into the new house. The flood was soooooo big that it knocked down all their neighbors houses, so they all came to Grandma’s house. Their new house was on a hill and so it didn’t get flooded.

I liked it because they had hospitality and they didn’t worry about much. There were 4 cats, 1 cow, a pig, a duck, chickens in the cupboard and a horse in the house.

You would like this book if your name is Steve. ”

DIGESTIVE HEALTH WITH REAL FOOD –Agalee Jacob

Jill says, “after devouring books on digestive health over the last 5 months this one is the hands-down winner of them all. The author is a nutritionist who does a nice job laying out several different eating strategies that people with digestive issues find helpful. She is very clear about seeing what works for the individual because there is no one-size fits all. She explains FODMAP, SIBO, IBS in ways that are easy to grasp and understand. I highly recommend this book to anyone who feels like something is unhappy in their gut and they want to refocus on nutrition and better digestion.
