I talked to the bank again today, and they said our closing could be the 21st! That’s a really, really quick closing, about 3 weeks. Banks rarely can close this quickly, but I guess we’re not too complicated. Jill is really psyched to be able to move during school vacation.
In addition to the down payment on our place, our bank account is taking a beating! $600 for car repair, $250 for car repair a week ago, $1700 for wisdom teeth, $1600 for miscellaneous dental work! Ouch. And yes, we HAVE dental insurance. They just don’t cover anything. $25 a tooth for extraction – that doesn’t even cover the consultation! Our insurance company is Mega, through NACE. We don’t recommend it 🙁
