That’s one of my favorite verses, it’s from Luke 16:9. Yeah, Jesus said that! I can’t imagine how this will play out or what it will look like, but it’s pretty clear to me. I find it so cool that, if I’m generous now, it will come back to me someday! I think about this a lot when I find myself being stingy with people.
What’s even more surprising is doing a study of all the verses that promise eternal rewards for Earthly deeds. I collected these and put them all together, and there’s so many of them I put it in a separate text document:
