We didn’t realize that the trail went right into town. Ben on bike, Alice on blades, Mom on foot, we took the trail into downtown Maynard and enjoyed the pond next to “Old Digital”.
We are always delighted to find Sparkle Berries! Also known as Autumn Olives, they are abundant on the side of roads this time of year. Makes nice jam, juice, jello jiggles. We had fun harvesting 7 lbs of them! 😛
