Surprise Ball & Surprise Pancakes

I have decided that I want to actually DO more of the things I save on Pinterest. Maybe tackling one thing a week is a doable, and fun, goal…. In the last two days we have had fun trying 2 new things.

SURPRISE GIFT BALL

Crepe paper (ours from Salvation Army, 59 cents)
bag of goodies (could be anything….we got a bag of small cuties… $1 at Salvation Army)
Wind them up and hide the goodies along the way.

Forgot to take a picture of out final product. We made one for our cousin for a birthday party today. And I made a little one for Alice. Daddy also scored one with a cadbury egg inside. 🙂

KETCHUP CONTAINER PANCAKES

Old Ketchup container filled with batter equals pancake creativity! This was fun, but a bit messy trying to get the pancake batter inside. I found it easier to thin out my mix with more milk. The pancakes didn’t mind. Yum!!!

Also, you don’t have to feel bad saving multiple ketchup containers. Once you fill one with better they become pretty tricky to clean and best tossed at that point.
