Alice says, “guess what I got today?”. A kitten? A gerbil? A mosquito bite?
“It hurt”, she says, “and I got five”…Then she goes on to tell her tale….
As for me, I am very thankful today.
1. Thankful for health insurance.
2. Thankful for a Dr. office closeby that will see you at 11:00 an on a Saturday.
3. Thankful for a husband who remains level-headed during a bleedfest and readily helps injured girls.
3. Thankful for a doctor’s gifted hands and knowledge.
4. Thankful for a brave girl who “didn’t even feel them going in!”
5. Thankful for that numbing gel that makes 5 stitches feel like nothing. 🙂
6. Thankful for the reminder that gymnasts and their parents need to be careful when doing tricks from lofted beds.
