I remember going in the office, saying hi, getting strapped in, a needle being put in my arm. Then I said how I had nice veins for IV’s. And then I said, “Well, goodnight everyone.” Then next thing I remember was grabbing Jill’s hand. She says I held on to her hair too, but I don’t remember that. I remember crying afterwards – I was overcome with emotion for her. No credit to Ben’s emotional side there, I was informed that anaestesia does that to you.
Then I remember stumbling out of the office and bleeding like crazy on the way home. Yay gauze. Now I’m kinda just chilling out and eating pudding, tomato soup, and drinking ginger ale. Mabye tomorrow I can eat some cheese. Kudos to the surgeon… I have very little pain now, and I’m only doped up on 100mg of Ibuprofen (1 Advil). I mean I still can’t run a mile or anything (like I could anyway) but I’m gonna be OK!
