We call this spot “Tick Orchard”, because Ben once accumulated 30+ticks during his brief walk to set up archery equipment. That was in April, when they seem to be more abundant, we have not had that problem since. Ben and Alice like to do archery there and I like to forage around. Lately my gems have been Autumn Olives, acorns, and apples. And I do enjoy this view here, just watching these two shoot together. 🙂
