Winter Musings

Alice and I had a great week working February Vacation Camp and running Forest Arts Class in the local school. It was very cold, so most days we had to bring nature into the class room. Lots of creativity with the kids!

So thankful for our healthy winter! We did not get sick at all. We are known to takes naps…maybe our best preventative measure. Here’s what I see in the living-room after hearing Ben declare, “I think I’ll take a nap”. LOL 😛

Alice has been putting together her display for the Geography Fair – salt dough map of her country came out great. Can YOU name this country?

High enthusiasm when a surprise delivery came. The last book in the Green Ember series!

And, sometimes we do actually get out of our home. We all enjoyed the Homeschool Skate time at the local rink. Fun to have so many friends who came, and a nice number of Dads turned out. Ben was rockin’ that rink. He did even request a favorite song which seemed to describe him when he straped on those skates! 😀

  1. I love the photo of Ben on his head. When Robin Williams auditioned for Mork and Mindy (or some other movie or show), the casting agent told him to take a seat, so he sat down on his head. It landed him the gig!
