Back at It

I was blog binging there for a while. That was fun. And then I took two weeks off! What’s up with that?! How could I let down my ….one reader?! 😛 Hehehe. This page is an outlet of sharing for me, I guess. During this time of isolation, yes, but also the void that one is left with after deleting a social media account. Funny, but true.

And I have not felt too great. Terrible time with headaches and fatigue, tooth pain and head fullness. I’m full of it….yak yak yak. Infected tooth? Allergy and sinus? Migraines? Don’t exactly know even yet, but seems to be sinus related. Will need to ride it out a bit until I can get to the doctors. In the meantime, I have felt better the last few days. Grateful for my nurse and doctor friends, as well as migraine/headache suffering friends who have had good advice of things that help them. So, the last two days, at least I have felt more like my energetic self and I am very thankful!

Enjoying baking still, but now sugar-free. I have enjoyed making oat flour by simply putting oats in the blender. This was good. It was made with oat flour and walnut flout with orange extract. Satisfying!

Wine production is off and running again. Or, off and bubbling I should say! Just a little too full. 😛 Will be delicious very soon though.

Yes, gasp and horror, we have one friend we’ve been playing with during this time. Isolation for an only child is hard though, so we’ve found it to be worth it. Even managed to hunt for some Easter eggs.

My Mom and Dad have been hunkering down and being safe. Lots of walks and productive things around the home and in the kitchen. What else is new?

One treat on Easter day was getting outdoors and shooting archery in our friend’s field. This is my preferred view. What do you think, is Ben getting shorter?

Ben made this wonderful beeswax lotion bars. They are great! You can buy them! 🙂

Peace out!

  1. Ben

    Ben is just further away

  2. I’m glad to read about the Holt Family!

  3. Jill

Yes, I really have no regrets. Definitely a good move to get of FB. It’s been good for me. As for the blog feed…I guess I just figure people who are interested will check it… We are so glad you do Jim!

The lotion is great for dry skin spots (like btwn knuckles). It is room temperature but softens when you apply it to your skin. Gently rub onto your hands and apply to desired areas.

  4. I think you are better off without Facebook. There is so much drama there with hiding overposters and avoiding political threads… I’ve been off FB almost two years now, and I don’t really miss it anymore.

  5. Am I your one reader? 😛

I liked the blog. I think you’d have more readers if you sent out a mass mailing, like my Mail Chimp Etoonin’s.

I like all the photos. I’m sorry you’ve been sick. 🙁

I’d like to understand what a beeswax lotion bar does for you? Maybe I’d be interested in purchasing one?

    Take care,
    Jim
