Quarantine Life

Quarantine life really isn’t that abnormal for us. Homeschoolers, homemakers, work-from-home types are pretty used to being together.

After trying about 6 different bread recipes we finally settled on a bread we all like. I can’t find the original site where I found the recipe, but happy to share it with you!

Tortilla and chip production keeps on.

Life with video chat is certainly something new! We do family visit/story time every day at 4. Auntie Julie reads a book aloud and we all catch up. I have come to look forward to these times every day! 🙂

Borrowed some puzzles from the Wikoffs. This one was fun. 🙂 The mink did it with me, he really liked it.

Quarentine is a great time to teach the offspring the NES games you loved as a kid…. rockin’ some vintage Mario here.

And Ben has been in the kitchen a lot – Farmers cheese we love! So good, so easy. Ben is the master cheese-maker. He also made this awesome 100% whole wheat bread that I really enjoyed.

And this girl turned 10! Quarantine birthday is not quite the same, but was made special by some friends, pizza, jello cake and drive-through present gift deliveries!

  1. I like the background sun and trees photo with Alice. Was that a real background?

I am glad you can beat the pandemic blues with video conferencing.

Happy Birthday, Alice! I remember when you were just three.
