I just saw this on on our “local, trusted news” channel, WBZ” regarding Dr. Suess books that are no longer being published.
“Portrayals of people with chopsticks, with rice,” said Robert Trestan of the New England Anti-Defamation League. “These are offensive images.”
Jeepers. I thought we liked diversity?
All I can add is that I promptly looked up this list of books from the library, and some of them are maxed out with holds. Their popularity and peoples’ curiosity has only gone up!
